This mug was made for Peter. The tractor is the Wee 35, and is spoken of as a member of the family.

It was bought new in 1963 and has worked every day since on his family farm. Bringing meal from the mill, moving animals, harvesting potatoes, turning hay.

Peter learned to drive on it, at a ridiculously early age, and now my boys have had their first diving experience on it too.

Mug is made from stoneware clay, thrown on the potters wheel, trimmed, handle applied, first firing, decorated and transparent glaze applied, second firing, decals applied and the final third firing!
